C7Q - Amend Coca-cola Agreement, Remove Energy Drinks

A Resolution Of The Mayor And City Commission Of The City Of Miami Beach, Florida, Amending Resolution No. 2021-31966, That Authorized The City Manager To Negotiate And Execute Amendment No. 2 To The Agreement With Coca-cola North America And Coca-cola Beverages Florida, Llc (collectively, Coca-cola), Extending The Agreement, On A Month To Month Basis, Commencing January 1, 2022, For A Period Not To Exceed Six (6) Months (extended Term), And Removing The Energy Beverage Category From The Scope Of The Agreement; Said Amendment To The Resolution Clarifying, That During The Extended Term, The City And Coca-cola Will Not Be Required To Comply With Certain Ongoing Marketing And Financial Obligations, Including, In Material Part, Coca-cola’s Obligation To Pay The City A Sponsorship Fee And The City’s Obligation To Purchase A Minimum Of 22,500 Cases Of Coca-cola Products Per Agreement Year.
