R7S - Conduct Hotel Market Study

A Resolution Of The Mayor And City Commission Of The City Of Miami Beach, Florida, Directing The City Administration To Engage An Independent Consultant To Conduct A Hotel Market Study, To Identify The Total Number Of: (1) Existing Hotel Rooms In The City, (2) Existing Registered Short-term Rental Units Available For Transient Rentals In The City, (3) Hotel Development Projects Currently Under Construction Throughout The City, And (4) Hotel Development Projects For Which Land Use Applications Have Been Submitted For Planning Review, In Order To Assist The City Commission In Assessing And/or Better Regulating The Proliferation Of Transient Rental Units Throughout The City, For The Purpose Of Improving Quality Of Life For The City’s Residents And Visitors; And Further Directing The City Manager To Circulate The Final Market Study As Soon As Possible And Not Later Than July 1, 2022, Via Letter To Commission.
