A Resolution Of The Mayor And City Commission Of The City Of Miami Beach, Florida, Urging The Florida Legislature To Adopt House Joint Resolution 167 And The Related House Bill 169, Filed For Consideration During The 2024 Legislative Session, Which Seek To Repeal The State Constitution’s Outdated Definition Of A Legal Union Of Marriage And To Remove Prohibition On Recognition Of Same-sex Marriages, Respectively; And Further, Directing The City Clerk To Transmit A Copy Of This Resolution To The Speaker Of The Florida House Of Representatives.
