R7A - Approve Term Sheet for Byron Carlyle Site

A Resolution Of The Mayor And City Commission Of The City Of Miami Beach, Florida, Pursuant To Request For Proposals 2019-100-kb, For The Development Of A Mixed-use Project With A Cultural Component At The Byron Carlyle Site (the “project”), Approving The Term Sheet (attached As An Exhibit To The Commission Memorandum Accompanying This Resolution) For The Project, And Directing The Administration And The City Attorney’s Office To Negotiate Final Agreements Based On The Terms In The Approved Term Sheet, And Including A Development Agreement And Purchase And Sale Agreement With Menin Hospitality & Kgtc, Llc, With The Final Agreements Subject To The Prior Approval Of The Planning Board And The Mayor And City Commission; And Further, Referring The Proposed Project, The Foregoing Agreements, And Associated Amendments To The City’s Land Development Regulations And The Future Land Use Map (“flum”) To The Planning Board For Review, In Accordance With The Requirements Of The Florida Statutes, The City Charter, And City Code.
