C7Z - Establish Permit Issuance Timeframes

A Resolution Of The Mayor And City Commission Of The City Of Miami Beach, Florida, Establishing A City Policy Goal Relating To The Timeframes For The Final Issuance Of Building Permits, As Follows: To The Extent Possible, (1) Final Residential Building Permit Applications Should Be Approved Or Denied Not Later Than Ninety (90) Days Following Submittal Of A Completed Permit Application, Or Earlier, If Required By Law; And (2) Final Commercial Building Permit Applications Should Be Approved Or Denied Not Later Than One Hundred And Twenty (120) Days Following Submittal Of A Completed Permit Application, Or Earlier, If Required By Law; Further, Providing That The Foregoing Timeframes Shall Be Used To Guide The City’s On-going Efforts To Streamline The Permit Review Process.
