COMMISSION MEMORANDUM
RECOMMENDATION
Please place on the May 7th, 2025, meeting, a referral to the Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee (“FERC”) to discuss the FY 2026 budget prioritization of an indemand park renovation for the Sunset Islands.
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
Currently the Sunset Islands community does not have sidewalks nor a park where residents can recreate. This creates unsafe situations for children and adults alike. Therefore we should discuss prioritizing renovating their park in the 2026 budget process at the next possible Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee (FERC) meeting.
