ANALYSIS

Overview:

With Spring Break fast approaching, it is critical for the City of Miami Beach to review and implement a comprehensive traffic plan to ensure the safety, mobility, and overall experience for residents, businesses, and visitors. The City Administration is requested to present a detailed traffic management strategy for Spring Break 2025, including:

Traffic Flow & Street Closures: Proposed street closures, detours, and traffic patterns to ensure the safety of visitors and residents and minimize congestion. Public Safety & Law Enforcement: Coordination with the Miami Beach Police Department (MBPD) for crowd control, enforcement of traffic laws, and overall public safety. Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety: Plans to ensure safe pedestrian and bicycle pathways, particularly in high-traffic areas. Communication & Signage: Clear communication of traffic changes and updates through social media, digital signage, and local news outlets.
