A Resolution Of The Mayor And City Commission Of The City Of miami Beach, Florida, Approving, In Substantial Form, amendment No. 1 To The Interlocal Agreement For Voluntary pre-kindergarten (vpk) Classes Dated August 18, 2023, Between the City And The School Board Of Miami-dade County, Florida; said Amendment: (1) Moving The Vpk Classroom At Biscayne beach Elementary School To Miami Beach Fienberg Fisher K-8 for The 2024-2025 School Year In Order To Meet The Needs Of the Community; And (2) Setting An Expiration Date For The interlocal Agreement As Of The Last Day Of The 2024-2025 school Year; And Approving The Reallocation Of The City contribution Under The Interlocal Agreement, In The Amount of $45,945.00 Per Year, Beginning In The 2025-2026 School Year, To support The City's Prekindergarten Scholarship Program, thereby Increasing The Total Number Of Scholarships For The program By Fifteen (15) Commencing In The 2025-2026 School year And Each Year Thereafter; And Further Authorizing The interim City Manager To Negotiate And Execute The amendment.
