ANALYSIS
Please refer a discussion to the Public Safety and Neighborhood Quality of Life Committee ("PSNQLC") to discuss/take action regarding a potential partnership with the Friends of Biscayne Bay organization (FOBB) to create an adopt a storm drain program in the City of Miami Beach.
FOBB is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves by Launching a new project, The Flow - Itβs all Connected. This project will establish an adopt a storm drain project, potentially countywide, harnessing public private partnerships to increase water quality awareness and fund storm drain water quality improvements. The ultimate goal of this project is to demonstrate how everyone can promote a healthy Biscayne Bay and the connection between our actions on land and Bay health.
