BACKGROUND/HISTORY
Please place on the July 23, 2025 agenda a referral to the Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee to discuss measures that could be implemented to increase accountability among third-parties retained by businesses for compensation, including permit expediters, landlords, real estate agents, neighboring business owners, including potential policy recommendations, enforcement mechanisms, and educational outreach, to ensure businesses are not negatively impacted by incomplete permitting processes.
