DISCUSS/TAKE ACTION ELEVATOR ISSUES AT 3800 COLLINS AVENUE.

RECOMMENDATION

BACKGROUND/HISTORY

When I recently visited the Four Freedoms Senior Center, I noticed that only one of the elevators worked, and the wait time was nearly 20 minutes to get an elevator. I wonder what happens in a situation like this when a senior has a medical emergency? This building needs new elevators, and while it is not our property, I do think the City of Miami Beach could reach out on behalf of our seniors, to the management company, and find out what is happening with this unsustainable and dangerous elevator situation. There has to be some action we can take.
