COMMISSION MEMORANDUM
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Mayor and City Commission ratify the item(s) approved by the City Manager during the recess period between the last Commission meeting on July 23, 2025, and the first regularly scheduled Commission meeting on September 3, 2025, pursuant to Resolution 2025-33807, as listed in Attachment B.
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
In order to ensure that essential services continue and operational needs are met during the period in which the City Commission is in recess between the last Commission meeting on July 23, 2025, until the first regularly scheduled Commission meeting on September 3, 2025, the Mayor and City Commission, on July 23, 2025, adopted Resolution 2025-33807. The Resolution is included as Attachment A. The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to select, negotiate, award and reject all bids, execute contracts and grant applications, and renew or terminate any existing contract during the period in which the City Commission is in recess.
