A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING THE CITY’S UNIQUE COASTAL AND MARINE RESOURCES, INCLUDING MANY ISLAND COMMUNITIES SUCH AS HIBISCUS ISLAND, PALM ISLAND, STAR ISLAND, AND THE VENETIAN ISLANDS; ACKNOWLEDGING THE PRESENCE OF THE MIAMI BEACH MARINA, OTHER MARINAS, KAYAK LAUNCHES, AND WATER RECREATION FACILITIES; AND DIRECTING THAT THE CREATION OF A NO-WAKE ZONE AROUND SUCH ISLANDS, MARINAS, KAYAK LAUNCHES, AND WATER RECREATION AREAS BE ESTABLISHED AS A LEGISLATIVE PRIORITY FOR THE 2026 LEGISLATIVE SESSION.
