A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING COMMITMENT TO IDENTIFY A REDUCTION IN THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 BUDGET PROCESS THAT WILL ENABLE THE CITY TO FUND AN ADDITIONAL $70,000 FOR SENIOR MEAL SERVICES TO BRING THE TOTAL CITY FUNDING SUPPORT FOR UNIDAD OF MIAMI BEACH, INC. TO $350,000 FOR FY 2026 AND DIRECTING THE ADMINISTRATION TO CONTINUE TO USE THIS HIGHER TOTAL AMOUNT, ADJUSTED BY CPI, IN FUTURE BUDGET YEARS.

FISCAL IMPACT STATEMENT
The fiscal impact of this measure is an additional $70,000 for senior meal services, bringing the total City funding support for Unidad of Miami Beach, Inc. to $350,000 for FY 2026 with conitnued funding in future years to be adjusted by the Consumer Price Index.
