RECOMMENDATION
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
Please place on an upcoming September 17, 2025 agenda a referral to the Public Safety and Neighborhood Quality of Life Committee to consider the feasibility of establishing Family Success Centers in the City of Miami Beach.
These community-based hubs could offer services such as housing assistance, employment support, financial literacy, mental health care, and youth and family programming. Other jurisdictions have successfully implemented similar models to address systemic barriers and improve family outcomes. I would like for the Committee (and the Administration) to explore potential locations, funding sources, service models, and community partnerships that could support such an initiative.
