RECOMMENDATION
Please place on the October 29, 2025 agenda a referral to the Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee (the “Committee”) a discussion item regarding a potential Improvement and Maintenance Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and MAC Management 2, LLC (“MAC”), the agent for the contract purchaser of the properties located at 723 Lincoln Lane North, 721 Lincoln Road, and 741 Lincoln Road.
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
The Lincoln Lane North right-of-way, which abuts the subject properties, is currently underutilized and underdeveloped. MAC has expressed interest in partnering with the City to improve and maintain this public space in a manner that would enhance the pedestrian experience and contribute to the revitalization of the area.
I would like to discuss with my colleagues the feasibility, terms, and public benefit of entering into an Improvement and Maintenance Agreement with MAC for the Lincoln Lane North right-of- way. The Administration should be prepared to present all relevant project details.
