Flyers will be distributed, and a volunteer vetting process will be implemented. Parks and Recreation will collaborate with the Education and Performance Initiative Division to oversee the program.

They also requested that a community meeting be held in person and that the administration manage the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is to invite neighborhood associations and residents to learn about technology-based policing tools, such as License Plate Readers (LPRs), and to meet their Community Resource Officers. Procurement presented some steps to help streamline the process Remove Commission pre-approval for issuing RFPs/RFQs/ITNs. Improve vendor payment processing with Finance. Simplify forms and add checklists to solicitations. Host a “Vendor Day” to guide businesses through the process. Promote the City’s expedited permitting program. Procurement will handle the item.
