RECOMMENDATION
Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, residents who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will no longer receive benefits beginning November 1. This will have a significant impact on food security for many vulnerable individuals and families in our community. I am requesting that the City Administration discuss this issue at Commission and provide information on any steps the City can take to support affected residents.
