A Resolution Of The Mayor And City Commission Of The City Of Miami Beach, Florida, Accepting The Recommendation Of The Public Safety And Neighborhood Quality Of Life Committee, At Its July 27, 2022 Meeting, Supporting The Proposed I-95 Express Lane Ramp Connections To/from I-195/julia Tuttle Causeway, And The Proposed Elevated Bl-directional Shared-use Viaduct For Bicyclists And Pedestrians Along The Julia Tuttle Causeway, As Recommended In The Preferred Alternative Of The Florida Department Of Transportation's (fdot) I-195 Corridor Planning Study, Provided That Fdot Install Safe, Protected Bicycle Facilities On The East And West Ends Of The Julia Tuttle Causeway In The Cities Of Miami Beach And Miami, Respectively, For Safe Connectivity And Continuity; And Further Directing The Administration To: (1) Urge Miami-dade County And Fdot To Consider A Similar Elevated Shared-use Viaduct Along The Macarthur Causeway, To Connect To The Existing Baywalks In The Cities Of Miami And Miami Beach, Respectively; And (2) Ensure That The Express Lane And Shared-use Viaduct Alternatives Along The Julia Tuttle Causeway, As Well As A Similar Shared-use Viaduct Concept Along The Macarthur Causeway, Are Included In The City's 2023 State Legislative Priorities.
